Modify PDF

Install PDF to PDF software to your computer. Run it.

 

Drag and drop your PDF  files to the program window. Or click the "Add Your Files..." button.

 

Choose the Operation type from the combobox:

 

"Rotate Pages" item. If you want to process all pages, choose the "Process all pages" option. If you want to process specific pages, choose the second option, and enter the page range. For example: 1, 2, 6-8.

Then choose the angle of rotation.

When ready, click the "Rotate" button to start the process.

 

"Extract pages". It extracts selected pages of PDF document and saves as individual PDF files. Optionally you can merge the extracted pages into the single PDF document.

If you want to process all pages, choose the "Process all pages" option. If you want to process specific pages, choose the second option, and enter the page range. For example: 1, 2, 5.

If you want to merge the extracted pages into the single PDF document, enable the corresponding option.

When ready, click the "Extract" button to start the process.

 

"Crop pages". This tool cuts a rectangular area on every page of PDF, and saves result to the new document. You just need to specify the coordinates of the rectangle, its width and height.

If you want to process all pages, choose the "Process all pages" option. If you want to process specific pages, choose the second option, and enter the page range. For example: 1, 2, 6-8.

Then choose the position and size of the crop box. Remember, the default Units are pixels, but you can change the Page Units option on the "Preferences" section of the program.

When ready, click the "Crop" button to start the process.

 

"Remove pages". Choose what pages you don't want to see in PDF, and the program will do the rest. It will remove the selected pages, and save the rest as a new PDF file.

Enter the page range. For example: 1-3, 12, 15. When ready, click the "Remove" button to start the process.

 

"Encrypt PDF". You can password-protect any PDF document (define owner and user passwords). And to set user permissions.

Enter the owner and user password. You also need to set User Permissions such as Print, modify, Copy, Annotation, Form filling, Accessibility, Document assembly, High resolution printing.

When ready, click the "Encrypt" button to start the process.

 

"Change metadata". Set the information in PDF file, such as Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Producer, creation and modification date fields.

Fill out all text fields. When ready, click the "Set" button to start the process.

 

"Sign PDF". To sign PDF document, select required options:

  - PFX file. Specify path to .pfx file.

  - PFX password.

  - Signature name is a name of the signature field to sign. If a field with this name does not exist it will be created. This field cannot be blank. Use different names to apply multiple signatures to PDF document.

  - Reason, Location and Contact are optional fields.

Click "Sign" to begin the process.

 

"Watermark". This tool allows you to add text and image overlays to the pages of your PDF file.

At first, choose the Watermark Type: "Text" or "Image" watermark.

 - Text watermark. Enter your text into the text field. Click "Font" and set the preferred font and size.  The "Writing" property can be horizontal (from left to right) or vertical (from top to down).

 - Image watermark. Click the "..." button and load your image. The path will be displayed in the text field. Change the Width and Height of the picture if needed.

You can set your own coordinates of the watermark if the "Custom" Position is chosen in the combo. Or you can assign the watermark to page automatically: Top Left, Left Bottom, Center etc.

Enter the page range into the "Pages" field. For example: 1-3, 12, 15. When ready, click the "Add" button to start the process.

 

"Merge PDF". Just click the "Merge" button to start the process.  All your input files will be joined into one document.

 

"Split PDF". There are two options of splitting available:

 -  to divide document onto the files of equal size; or

 -  to specify the splitting page numbers. The second option allows you to accurately specify where the document should be divided.

Example: 4, 7, 12. PDF will be divided onto 4 files:  File1: pages from 1 to 3. File2: pages from 4 to 6. File3: pages from 7 to 11. File4: pages from 12 to end.
